My guiding word for 2018 is Happy!
A house is not a home without laughter.
A house is not a home without laughter.
I look forward to having Kozmo and Jo Jo come for another visit this year.
I really need to learn to be picked up and carried, because it sure looked like fun when Mommy was carrying Kozmo and Jo Jo!
Kozmo and Jo Jo and Cinnamon went home today. I do miss them, but I am also so very happy to get back into Mommy and my routine! I ran down to the door for my back rub when Mommy got home for work and we played fetch!!! I could not play that when Cinnamon was here because anything got thrown – Cinnamon chased.
And I asked Mommy if she would pawticipate too!
And I asked Mommy if she would pawticipate too!
She giggled!
Here are Mommy’s answers:
1. My guiding word for 2018 is Joy!
2. A house is not a home without a cat.
2. A house is not a home without a cat.
3. I look forward to getting some art done this year. I have not done any since last July because I was so ill. I still am very tired and am not yet back to my normal energetic self.
4. I really need to find time to create, because creative things help me stay centered.
I like being carried around too!

I will tell you a secret, Marv – I don’t like being picked up that much either! I only like it for really short periods of time, then I get impatient and want to be put back down. I still do great as a therapy cat, though!

I don’t like being carried either, Marv!! I think it’s for sissies! But I do like back rubs and brushes and head bonks and snuggles!! Mum and me really hope Mom Barb will be back to her old self soon!! xxx

Most of us here do not like to be picked up. Your fill-ins are just terrific. You all have a wonderful day.

Happy and Joy are excellent words for the year. Marv, Real Cat Webster loved being held and carried around when he was younger, but once he grew up a little more he was like, “I’m a man now. Don’t pick me up!” Paisley likes to be picked up sometimes, and only when it is HER idea. 🙂

Hi Marv! You can now get back into your old routines since the family has left until next visit. I think both you and your Mommy have excellent answers on your fill-ins today. Know what? I’m not crazy about being picked up and carried either…..I squirm and wiggle and scream and Mom figures I must have some kind of weird memory about that from before I was adopted….anyway, I’m OK being on Mom’s lap – especially when she gives me a head massage!!!
Hugs, Teddy

We loved both your answers. Marv, a house does need laughter to make us relax. Joy is the main thing we all strive toward.

Marv … you do you. Don’t worry about other kitties … there’s only one you and your job is to be you. Nellie taught us that 🙂

You and your Mommy both have good guiding words.
Eric used to love being carried, (probably because it saved him using energy walking!) He would lie on his back in my arms completely relaxed with his legs hanging everywhere. Flynn like to be carried looking over my shoulder, but not for too long because he always preferred running flat out everywhere.

I am sorry to be so late. I may be late, but I do get there. You have such a positive aura. I appreciate that, and you. Your answers are truly great, too. Joy was going to be my word, until Hope was given to me. I guess I will need it, too. We have had some sad news this week, but we are not going to let it steal joy. We want to preserve that! Hugs.
