Problem Spark

The problem is work…

The never ending software rollout. Mommy’s work is now eight and a half months behind. Since January, they have been expecting to be finished in “the next couple of weeks“.

We (the Royal We and the young Marvelous), as blogging cats, think this is totally unacceptable!

Since Christmas, Mommy has been doing Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday posts on Sundays! And then reading our furrends blogs in bed at night on the tablet.She has been trying to comment–but this week, she has work to do!

She told mes that there would be NO SPARK this week!!!!

Mes has put my ROYAL foot down and demanded that Mommy makes my SPARK post!

Mes determined that it should be about problems!

  8. Nellie dear girl, nobody hissed and sulked as well as you did – I know how that you are Angel Queen Nellie you TOTALLY have your way but we loved you then, and love you now and always. As for your Mom and the ENDLESS amount of work – it might not seem fair that she’s so busy but it doesn’t take away from the ENDLESS love she has for you and Marvelous and everyone else in her life. Remember that and it will be “smooth sailing” !! We love the spark……….you ARE the spark.

    Well done, Nellie, getting your mum to take a breather for a brief spark; and fur sure it is not the problems themselves, but how we respond to them which can make all the difference!   10. Nellie, my mom has been known to hiss and sulk with a problem in the past but not now. But I believe she will still hiss occasionally when something slips up on her. Now me..nope. I am smooth as silk and no sulking. Well…unless there are intruder cats outside! Then, all bets are off. Love you NellieBellie always and forever.

  11. Sometimes I try to solve problems by hissing and sulking, but it never works out. Eventually I have to tell myself to put on the “big girl” pants and just deal with it! Hope your mom’s work stuff gets sorted soon so she can get back to the important stuff! 🙂

  23. Yes, different minds come up with different solutions. That’s why when we collaborate and take the best ideas from everyone, we come up with the best solutions.

    And as for hissing and howling, the fact is you will get more flies with honey than vinegar. Or, to put it another way, the squeaky wheel may get the grease, or may get replaced!
