Did yous guys knows that Audrey Hepburn’s birthday was May the 4th?

Mes is going to tells yous some things about her yous may not know.

She was a EGOT! She is one of the 14 people who gotted a  Emmy, a Grammy, an Oscar and a Tony. She winned a Oscar for Best Actress in a Leading Role for her very first movie (1953-Roman Holiday)! The next year she gotted a Tony for Best Actress in a Drama for Ondine. Hepburn’s Emmy and Grammy is most surprising! She retired a long time before movie stars did TV. She winned her Emmy for her show a PBS (1993) documentary series Audrey Hepburn’s Gardens of the World.
And last but not least she gotted a Grammy in 1994 (after she went over the bridge) for Best Spoken Word Album for Children (Audrey Hepburn’s Enchanted Tales).

Hepburn had to eat tulip bulbs to survive during World War II. In 1990, her life came full circle when a new hybrid breed of tulip was named after her.

Mes thinks that she was a pretty classy lady. And to celebrate her birthday mes is quoting her for my spark!

Audrey 5-7

It might be hard to read on the picture so here it is….

I believe in pink. I believe that laughing is the best calorie burner. I believe in kissing, kissing a lot. I believe in being strong when everything seems to be going wrong. I believe that happy girls are the prettiest girls. I believe that tomorrow is another day and I believe in miracles!

Mes believes that too! Especially the pink, the laughing, the strength  tomrrows, miracles and the kissing! Mes loves kissing!

“I believe we are meant to be lights in this world. If we allow our light to shine, we can see where we are going. It is then that we can begin to truly see each other clearly. Together, we can light up the entire world!”

Mes, Nellie Bellie  believes this too!

  1. Oh Nellie how nice to see you so very pretty in pink! Audrey Hepburn has always been one of my Mom’s most favorite-est people. She was beautiful, talented, smart, funny, and she loved animals. She was always SO GOOD in her movies too. Even though it was a TINY TEENY part to play, one of her last roles was as an angel in “Always” with Richard Dreyfuss. She did so many fabulous movies though. You are every bit as SPECIAL as she was dear Nellie! Love this SPARK…….LOVE LOVE LOVE you in pink too!

    Hugs, Teddy and Mom
