What a difference a week makes.
When Mommy went to work this Monday, she was pretty sure that the interim software rollout that was supposed to happen in the Middle of November while she was on vacation– did not happen…
and she was right.
The new date is now December 10th. But this week Mom’s co-worker and the other writer had a family emergency! That meant that Mom worked a LOT of overtime this week and she will be working through this weekend and overtime next week straight through to next weekend.
She has been home LATE everyday this week. And Alex went to Chicago for 2 days. We did NOT get any posts done, and we did not get a chance to visit our furrend’s blog.

One of my least favorite things about work … there’s always someone who shirks duties (intentionally or not) … and picking up the slack isn’t fun. Especially when you have two kitties waiting on you at home!

I hope by next weekend the rollout is complete and your mum is able to slow down. It’s not a good thing to have to return to after a lovely holiday.

YAY for Spitty but BOO for your poor Mom who JUST gets back from a nice relaxing vacation when WHAMMO she has to work overtime! Not fair! Well, let’s hope that roll-out happens with no delay this time so she is FREE to relax for the holiday.

Ohhhh no Marv……I am familiar w things like this happening my hubby was a system’s analyst before he retired Friday m local power giant. They had to develop and implement a new address syst3m w barcode back in the mid 90’s it was a nightmare.

We is very excited and thankful! We want to tell your mom to TAKE HER TIME. No hurry! Her main job is taking care of you kids.
I used to HATE it when things got super crazy at her school and she’d leave me for like 20 hours a day! Okay, I’m lying about that. But sometimes 12 and that was bad enough. I think they should LEAVE and come home to us in a timely manner but they seem to have a “work ethic” or some stupid Human thing. You guys look pretty fierce there.

Congrats to Spitty. Mom wanted to contribute but a friend lost everything (but her life and her dog) in the Camp (Paradise, CA) fire, and she had to help her this time. So many need help. We so wish we could help everybody. Wow, Marv, we sure hope Mom Barb can get work under control so she can enjoy the holidays. Well, it is the 11th now…hope your Mom will be able to relax a bit more, now. And soon the Christmas vacation times will be upon us, for sure she will be able to give you furry ones all the needed attentions and more to make up for lost time?! We can hope, right? Petcretary on the other hand, has to work on the 25th, cause health care never takes days off…but after that she will have about 8 days to recover, MOL!
