Miscellany…

There were leftovers to be done when Mom went back to work on Monday. She has been busy. And I thought things would get back to normal…WRONG!

I sit on my tree and watch for her car…then when I hear the door open, I RUN down and roll on the bottom landing waiting to get my back rubbed!

She is the size of a nickle and she lives on our deck! Mom says she is an Orb Weaver and has gotten used to Mom and Me. She does not run but keeps on doing what she is doing. She is my guest selfie!

He was waiting for his Dad to come home. Alex got home from vacation, but now he is leaving for 6 weeks of work! Ninja is a little despondent.

I’ve been trying to cheer him up, but I would be sad too if Mom went away for 6 weeks.

And this is Fritzie! He is a Friend of Mr Spitty (who won the painting for Marg’s Animals). He already has a portrait painted by Mommy and when he won, he wanted his furrend Fritzie immortalized!

  6. We love your artwork. And also the other pictures. In the top one, you look so wistful.
    Mummy says her first kitty, Minxie, used to run to the living room window when She (Mummy) came home from work and called to her from the carpark downstairs. We just run to the front door when We hear her coming.

  18. Hiya Marv dude, oh wow mew guys where do we begin… we love Lucy, isn’t she magical, we’ve neffur heard of an orb weaver, she’s amazing! Yes trying to get back to normality aftur Catmas always takes a while! Awwww we hope Ninja isn’t too sad, and six weeks will pass in no time. We love the pawtrait too, it’s absolutely amazing!

  19. Oh my! Lucy is very talented – weaving an orb sounds like tough work. Must be fun to have a spidey to watch too. Sorry Ninja will not have his Dad around for such a long time but we know you and your Mom will keep him entertained and happy, Marv.   24. I love the way you RUN to greet your human. I have always made a practice of this myself, even if I’m in the middle of my treasured nap and have to run to the door half asleep. Speaking of nap, I can relate to that last pic of a nap on a luxurious sofa. beautiful pic…all cats should immerse themselves in luxurious surroundings always!

  28. Oh, Marv, I love to see your gorgeous Self and I loved the painting. Your mom is a very great artist, Granny wished to have some skills of that natural talent. We had a little spider living in our house too. He made his web on the window and only came out when he saw some food walking. Granny didn’t care, she loved that he lived with us for almost half a year, she never cleaned that spot, only once, but he came back immediately after the cleaning. When it was spider-time in August/September he left the building to find a girl or so. Later she found him in the garden making his web on the apple-tree. It was a miracle to see him again ❤ Pawkisses for a wonderful day to all of you🐾😽💞

  29. Mom’s painting of Fritzie is awesome! Marv, we love that you greet Mom like that when she gets home. We are sorry that Alex has to go away for six weeks, but we are sure you and mom will give him lots of attention to help console him.

  31. Beautiful rendition of your friend, Marv! Your Mom has wonderful talent indeed!
    Of the six kitties that have lived here, including PIpo, only to of them were door greeters, Angels Simba and Toki…they always had lots of stories to tattle about, esp Simba:)

    We hope those 6 weeks of work away from home fly by, Ninja. Marv will keep you entertained…and you can watch Lucy at work, too:)
    My but she is an ambitious little creature…we think, but petcretary has severe arachnophobia, ever since some funnel building spiders were in her bed when she was 12 years old…shudder…
