Belated…yet again

It is tough being a blogging cat with my Mom.

Since last March, she has done very little except work — both at home and her job. She says something about 2 releases this year when they are usually 18 months apart…

Oh sure…she has taken a whole week off here and there, and she did go on a 2 week vacation in November. Most of her time off she has worked to keep the townhouse in spic and span shape and she did do some painting (which she would love to do full time) and at Christmas we DID spend a week with Kozmo, Jo Jo and Cinnamon, but I think Mom worked harder there than here!

BUT the end is in sight!

Mom says there are only 3 little pieces left for her to do and they are just little. And then she told me she had taken Monday and Tuesday off.  I was excited!

She came home LATE of Friday (she was releasing something…) and…she was sick!!! She spent yesterday and MOST of today in bed!

Ninja and I spent Yesterday and most of today doing what cats do best…when their humans are sick.

As you can see in our selfies, we have been snuggling with her and healing purring up a storm. Mom got up and made some toast and then her and me made some Caturday Art (a day late)

Because Mom was NOT here, we missed blogging about Tallulah at 15 and Meowing.

  15. Gosh – your Mom sure does have to work HARD! Sorry she got sick but at least you and Ninja got to have EXTRA snuggle time that way……hopefully she will be well very soon. I’m sure if your Mom could do her fabulous art full-time she’d be HAPPIER than ever!

  17. Sending healing purrz to your mom who I think is working herself into an early grave. Pop used to be like that too but now I’ve trained him to work at home 2-3 days a week.
