Amazing things can happen in a month! A month ago we were living in Richmond. Mommy was traveling to see Daddy in the Kelowna Hospital most weekend and Ninja’s Daddy (my human brother Alex) was in Singapore.

Two weeks ago, Mommy put all of us cats in carriers, put the 4 carriers in the car and we we MOVED to Midway.

The Doctors decided to let Daddy out of the hospital and because he could not climb all the stairs in the townhouse, Mommy said we were moving to Midway.

We have the most interesting neighbors. I’m not sure if they are big dogs…but Cinnamon barks at them and Ninja chases them!

 Mommy is once again working out of what she calls “Mission Control”.Mission Control

What we like, is that she is working from home so she can take care of me (and Daddy). She managed to get them t company she works for to think outside the box (or office) for the short term. And it it does not work out, Mommy will get what she calls “Retired”. Though she says they could sure use the benefits (what ever they are).

Cinnamon agrees! She LOVES that she can go for way more car rides.

Kozmo LOVES that we cats all go our own “Nip Nanners” and that we can go outside whenever we want.

And Jo Jo LOVES the bed in Mommy’s office!

Yep! We are HAPPY to see you guys too!!

  1. WOW! Those are some big changes, for sure, Marv! We are glad you are all back at Midway, and that you are all happy. That is the most important thing of all. And of course we have not forgotten you, dear, sweet pals. 🙂

  5. Wow, what a change you have had to deal with, plus your mom must have been very stressed by it all on top of worried for you too. It sounds like you have found a great solution, and I am sure it is one that will turn out OK for the company too. Wise employers know the value of home working, as well as the need to help employees at times of family crisis. We can’t wait to see more of your new home, the neighbourhood and the residents; both big and small 😉

    OMC Marv, as I turned the lovely calendar with all your arty-Marvs on it this month, I thought “I wonder how our dear Marvelous is getting on and whether Barb is holding things altogether and whether your dad was okay… and…and…” Well, you get the gist! Golly, life has a habit of keeping us on our edges, doesn’t it? However, I hope that being in Miday means that you (and mum) get some more steady time now.   8. It’s great to see you, and of course we remember you! Everyone loves you and your family and would never forget you.
    That is big news and hopefully things will be a bit better for your mum not having to do all that travelling. I send good thoughts for your dad’s recovery.
    It is good that you can go outside and enjoy your garden. It is also good that Ninja is keeping those vishus deer at bay!

  10. Marv!!!! Gosh how wonderful to hear from you. We just KNEW something big was happening for us not to hear from you for so long but WOW – moving really is a biggie! As long as you all are together that’s good right? Those big things you see out the window and in your yard are NOT cats – we see those here too…..along with some other wildlife like foxes and stuff that are dangerous. I really, truly hope that you all will enjoy being together there in Midway and now that your Mommy is working from home in Command Central you will see her a LOT MORE. I’m sending all of you big hugs and love. I hope your Mom can find time to keep us all posted…………….

  18. We sure do remember you and we continue to send healing purrs and prayers to your Daddy and support to you all. So glad Mom can work from home as that can make the difference. Our Dad retired the first of this year and says it is the best. He hung in until he got medicare for the benefits

  23. Do we remember you? What a question. We think about your whole family everyday. It seems best to move to Midway. Everyone is happier there with freedom to investigate for Cin and all the kitties. Dd can go anywhere in the house without worrying about stairs. Your mom is a wonderkin leaving Richmond and working in Midway. Her employer seems to be quite versatile. We hope it works out well. Talk about the good times with each other, Barb. The fantastical time you had in Hawaii.

  26. We are sooooooooooooo happy that Mom found a workable solution and are so happy she is back in “mission control!” So glad Dad is home too and you are all together. We also like Mom’s outlook, that if the current work situation doesn’t work out, Mom will be retired! Wooooo hooo! Sending lots of love!
