Man Cats doing selfies on Sunday

We had a great New Year! Mommy, Daddy and Alex all went to bed around 10 PM. There was no partying at our house. Even the fireworks in the village park did not wake them.

We got a nice fresh layer of snow though!

BUT it was not cold! Cinnamon’s bed was out on the deck for “airing” and Kozmo spent all afternoon on it!

When I asked him if he wanted to come in, he LAUGHED at me!

Ninja has been getting up close with his Dad. Alex will be leaving soon and will be gone for a couple of months. Ninja will be staying with us. He will miss his Dad, but he’s got the rest of his family to cheer him up. Alex was eating Christmas Oranges. And put one on Ninja laying on his lap.

What is my resolution for the New Year? I have been talking to Queen Penelope and I have decided that I shall take on her hellish duties!

I have been quite the brat! I have been chasing the other cats, getting into closets, knocking all kinds of things off of all kinds of places and tearing though the house like the hounds of Hades have been after me (Nellie tells me she called it “Great Thundering Herd”)! EVEN Cinnamon has been chased by ME – MARVELOUS. Mom says I have been channeling Nellie!

PS. We just did Teddy’s puzzle and thought we would turn the Nellie selfie into a puzzle. It looked easy peasy, but it took us almost 1/2 an hour to complete!!! Beautiful but tough…just like Nellie! Click the Mini pic below to go to the Puzzle Page!

  3. Nellie was a queen, and no mistake, and I think she will have a very able associate in training to take on her mantle – of course, it will take a while, and plenty of practice, MOL

  4. Oh Marv! I’m happy to hear that you are taking Queen Nellie’s advice from the Bridge and being the wild man that she has encouraged you to be! Every household needs a “manager” and you’re a good one! I’m happy that everyone is settled in and enjoying being together. I wish you ALL the happiest of new years.

  14. Marv, we are beyond ourselves with happiness to see you on our hop today, and we know others will be as well. We all miss you. It does indeed sound as if you are channeling Nellie. We are all bad around the holidays, and we settle down when all goes back to normal. We posted our resolutions a few days ago, and they are many.
