Hi, my name is Marv (short for Marvelous). I am a very sweet 3 1/2 year old, male tabby. My rescuer in Iran works tirelessly to save, rehabilitate, and heal all the poor dogs who have been maimed, abused and abandoned in Iran. If it were not for her and others like her, all these dogs who found kind adoptive families in Canada would have perished in horrible ways. She is so compassionate, that when she came upon me at death’s door suffering from respiratory problems, she rescued me as well. After a long time at the vet in Iran, I recovered. My rescuer had only one request in return for all she does for the dogs. She wants me to find a home in Canada too as she had not been able to find a home for me in Iran.

Queen Penelope, who has passed over the Bridge, came to me and asked if I was interested in her Mom. Her Mom LOVES cats and has raised many, who have had difficult lives, and she would be purrfect for me! And now I have my own home with her. This last fall we moved to Midway BC as my human’s partner was in a catastrophic car accident and we needed to take care of him. I LOVE being a country cat, though I am not too fond of snow. Ninja LOVES it too! And he even likes the snow. He says that being able to go outside almost balances out his Dad being gone so much. Ninja did not have a very good early life either! His Dad, my human brother, brought him home one day when Mom and Nellie were living in Calgary. He KNEW Queen Penelope!

Kozmo was also a rescue. He came to Midway when he was little after being found in a plastic bag. Jo Jo was brought home from a farm market and they both LIVED with Queen Penelope too!

Now that I live in Midway, I now live with the 3 best furrends EVER!  I am the luckiest cat!

On this blog, we share our adventures!
