We had a great New Year! Mommy, Daddy and Alex all went to bed around 10 PM. There was no partying at our house. Even the fireworks in the village park did not wake them.
We got a nice fresh layer of snow though!
BUT it was not cold! Cinnamon’s bed was out on the deck for “airing” and Kozmo spent all afternoon on it!
When I asked him if he wanted to come in, he LAUGHED at me!
Ninja has been getting up close with his Dad. Alex will be leaving soon and will be gone for a couple of months. Ninja will be staying with us. He will miss his Dad, but he’s got the rest of his family to cheer him up. Alex was eating Christmas Oranges. And put one on Ninja laying on his lap.
Look at the expression on the face of the sticker on the orange!! And after he tasted the orange…look at the expression on the face of Ninja!
What is my resolution for the New Year? I have been talking to Queen Penelope and I have decided that I shall take on her hellish duties!
I have been quite the brat! I have been chasing the other cats, getting into closets, knocking all kinds of things off of all kinds of places and tearing though the house like the hounds of Hades have been after me (Nellie tells me she called it “Great Thundering Herd”)! EVEN Cinnamon has been chased by ME – MARVELOUS. Mom says I have been channeling Nellie!
Do you have a resolution?
