Nellie’s Spark

Last week, Summer and her human writed a post telling peoples how us cats tells them wes loves them. And it got mes thinking.

Mes was not a furry affectionate cat until mes gotted old. Mes had been abused and had been taken away from my Mom and my siblings too young. Other peoples who adopt rescue cats may has some of the issues my pawrents had. First, me was scared of everything, Mom knew lot about cats and she made mes my furry own sanctuary.

This was a place that was just for me. When mes went in there mes learned that mes would not be bothered.  It was my special place. Mom makes sure that all of her cats has their furry own sanctuary.

Mes had not been feeded regularly, so mes would often gets into the garbage. To help with that, mes gotted fed two times a day. Mes always had crunchies that was near my sanctuary and the foods was put out everyday at the same time. Mom would talk to me while she was getting it ready and told mes how beautiful I was. She would sit on the floor talk to mes for a half hour when she putted my foods down at night.

Mom and Dad were always furry consistent with mes. They always talked to me and called me my name and after a while mes started to comes out of my sanctuary and watch them. Mes followed them around the house and after a while mes would sit with Dad.

It tooked 2 years before mes would let them pet mes, but they knew mes loved them because mes would sing Mother Cat songs to them when mes sat beside them. Mes would bite them and mes eventually purred.

It took a furry long time, but mes LOVED my peoples to bits!

“I believe we are meant to be lights in this world. If we allow our light to shine, we can see where we are going. It is then that we can begin to truly see each other clearly. Together, we can light up the entire world!”
