Dona nobis pacem

It is November 4th, we are participating in the 12th Annual World Peace Day!
This year Mimi has asked, “How do I find peace in overwhelming times?”
I imagine a purrfect world where every cat and dog has a person and every person a cat and dog.

We are participating in Mimi Lennox’s Blog For Peace Day!

In a world that’s adrift with constant anxiety and unpredictability, that Latin 3-word mantra prayer we’ve been uttering all these years on our peace globes is needed more than ever:

Dona nobis pacem
Grant us peace

I also wanted to share the world with a few of my furrends.

  1. Very well done. I love both the image at the top and the theme. There must be something in the air since I went for peace when overwhelmed as well.

  3. Even though I haven’t done a Peace post this year, my thoughts are the same, and I wish for peace for all.
Your graphics and words are lovely, and you are right, they are needed more than ever.
I had intended to participate but a late decision to put together an Ireland road trip and it completely went out of my mind, (as do most things lately)
Thank you for including the boys in your World of Friends.

  4. I wanted mommy to help me do a post for much desired Peace but she was unable this one time. She will be ready next Peace Day. Marv, your face is just the best mancat face there IS! I have to say this. And I know mom knows the joy of having a son come visit with Moms. Not much more wonderful a time than sons or daughters who come to be with our mommy’s. And we, you and me, get more petting and smoochies when they get there.

  11. Love your globe, Marv, but kinda sad I wasn’t in the last image with your furrends! The chance that peace will come in my lifetime is rapidly diminishing. But we’ll try to achieve it one blog at a time. Peace out.

  12. Our Mama forgot to post about peace today BUT she wishes for and fervently hopes for peace every day of her life.We agree with you Marv, if every person had a dog or cat, if every person could think outside of self interest and ego and helped those who have no voice and who are pure of heart, the world would certainly find peace and be as one.XO

  14. Dear Marvelous,
You ARE marvelous!! That peace globe is a prize-winning statement. Every person should have someone beside them in this world. I don’t have any kitties or animals, but I do have lots of friends who share their animals via intrawebs – and I have fallen in love with the peace cats. You are a force to be reckoned with. On Peace Day, you rule!

Love and peace to you and yours,
    Mimi
