Belated…yet again

It is tough being a blogging cat with my Mom.

Since last March, she has done very little except work — both at home and her job. She says something about 2 releases this year when they are usually 18 months apart…

Oh sure…she has taken a whole week off here and there, and she did go on a 2 week vacation in November. Most of her time off she has worked to keep the townhouse in spic and span shape and she did do some painting (which she would love to do full time) and at Christmas we DID spend a week with Kozmo, Jo Jo and Cinnamon, but I think Mom worked harder there than here!

BUT the end is in sight!

Mom says there are only 3 little pieces left for her to do and they are just little. And then she told me she had taken Monday and Tuesday off.  I was excited!

She came home LATE of Friday (she was releasing something…) and…she was sick!!! She spent yesterday and MOST of today in bed!

As you can tell — I AM MIFFED!!!
Ninja and I spent Yesterday and most of today doing what cats do best…when their humans are sick.

As you can see in our selfies, we have been snuggling with her and healing purring up a storm. Mom got up and made some toast and then her and me made some Caturday Art (a day late)

You can click on Athena’s Button to see all the other Art! It is GLORIOUS!

Because Mom was NOT here, we missed blogging about Tallulah at 15 and Meowing.

We extend our deepest sympathies to the 15 and Meowing family. May Tallulah’s soul be at peace over the rainbow Bridge.

  1. You two, and your mommy and my Kozmo, and Cinnamon, and Jo- Jo and your daddy are a precious family.

  2. You and Ninja are doing good work trying to purr your mum better. I hope she soon feels better and can enjoy Monday and Tuesday with you. Your art is beautiful.

Oh I like that Lunapic variation of you, Marv… sending some POTP for mum to shake that cold; it’s typical though, we work and work and then when we stop the bugs go WAHAAAYY. Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx

  4. Thank you for your condolences on the loss of sweet Tallulah. I hope your mom feels better soon. She is lucky to have 2 adorable nurses to take care of her. XO

  5. Poor Mommy! We sure hope she feels better soon, so that she can enjoy that extra time with you, Ninja and Marv.

  6. Man, they do seem to be working your staff far too hard– that surely is for you to do, rather than mop up after them. MOL
We hopes that she feels better very soon, and that you get some quality time together this year.
    Lots of purrs

  7. Looks like we’re going through the same phase, Marv, but better making no purroblem out of it. There’s no time in the cosmos anyway 😉 Your artwork is extremely beautiful again and you and Ninja’s Selfies…in one word fabulous! Pawkisses for a wonderful day🐾😽💞

  8. Gosh – your Mom sure does have to work HARD! Sorry she got sick but at least you and Ninja got to have EXTRA snuggle time that way……hopefully she will be well very soon. I’m sure if your Mom could do her fabulous art full-time she’d be HAPPIER than ever!

    Hugs, Teddy

  9. Sending healing purrz to your mom who I think is working herself into an early grave. Pop used to be like that too but now I’ve trained him to work at home 2-3 days a week.
