2. October is perfect for cooking! Not so cold you can’t leave the windows open and the kitchen does not get hot.

3. Where I live fall is rainy.

4. I feel very happy this time of year.

On to Shakespeare!

Mom was reading a book that had some funny Shakespeare quotes and puns and we thought Shakespeare would be a great inspiration…

He was a REALLY Funny Guy! Ninja and I have been working on our insults!

The best insults provide a quick jab to the ego

Ninja thought he would channel Shakespeare by wearing an Elizabethan collar… This is what I thought…

When the lights are on…but Nobody is home

And how Ninja felt about my insult…

Closing with Me — laughing…

Present mirth hath present laughter. What’s to come is still unsure.

We are also pawticipating in Comedy Plus’ Feline Fridays

  3. That’s a cool font, Marv! And you and Ninja are so funny with those Shakespearean quips (I was a literature major in college, so I LOVED this).

  4. Love your fill-ins and that font is way cool! Also love the Shakespearean humor – he did love a good “jab” didn’t he? There’s a hilarious British comedy on PBS here about Shakespeare and his family – Mom giggles her way through it when it’s on! Love the photos you guys – that’s about the only kind of Elizabethan collar I would tolerate…..a SOFT one!

  6. The thing that really gets me is that many of the words we use today actually meant the opposite all those years ago. I can’t read Shakespeare without copious footnotes – which makes the whole thing more of a chore instead of entertainment..
